The crystal alchemy singing bowls emit a pure crystalline sound vibration that causes the body to slow down by relaxing the nervous system and calming the mind.
The healing sound frequencies have a restorative and therapeutic effect on the body, which aid in restoring harmony, bringing balance, rhythm and flow.
A session may be held in small groups or individually. During a soundbath you lie down on the ground, (if this is not possible, sitting on a chair is also an option). Typically this is done over a mat with a blanket and a pillow.
You want to feel as cozy and comfortable as possible. The sound healing practitioner will play the crystal alchemy bowls beginning with a guided meditation and/or breathwork.

What does the BioMat do? Relieves acute and chronic pain, reduces stress, anxiety and relaxes muscles.
Yes, they are safe. The bowls or any other instruments are not placed on the body. We do recommend you consult your physician if you are pregnant, as all pregnancies are different.
If you are having your session at our studio, we provide you with all the needed props for you to feel as cozy as possible (mat, pillow, bolster, eye pillow, drinking water). If the session is elsewhere, you want to make sure that you are comfortable.
We suggest you wear loose clothing that is comfortable and have a sweater in case you get cold.
We do not burn sage, palo santo, or incense during the soundbath. In certain instances we may use essential oils per the clients request.
Crystal alchemy bowls are made of 99.99% pure clear quartz which acts as an amplifier. At a temperature of about 4000 degrees F, they are infused with minerals, metals and precious stones from the Earth.
The singing bowls we use at Akhila Om have been tuned to a frequency of 432 Hertz. Known as the “miracle tone”, this sound-wave frequency is healing to all the body systems.
