Carolina Santos

Carolina’s journey into yoga, meditation, and holistic healing spans over 15 years, ignited by a pivotal life event in 2008. Drawn to ancient healing practices, she embarked on a profound exploration that led her to Rishikesh, India, where she earned her yoga teacher certification in 2015. Venturing into Reiki healing in Nepal further enriched her path. Recently, she attained her 500-hour yoga teacher certification, expanding her knowledge and skills.

Inspired by the transformative synergy of breath and movement, Carolina’s holistic approach integrates essential oils, sound therapy, and sacred plant medicine like cacao and Ayurveda.

With a special focus on sound healing, Carolina is deeply passionate about crystal alchemy bowls, continuously studying and discovering new facets of this powerful modality. She has witnessed profound results from sound healing, inspiring her ongoing exploration and dedication to this practice.

Based in Miami, she shares her expertise through private Hatha yoga classes, prioritizing safety and enjoyment. She also specializes in trauma-informed yoga for vulnerable populations.

Active engagement with communities in India and Colombia reflects Carolina’s commitment to enriching lives through yoga retreats, Reiki healing, cacao ceremonies, and NEO Emotional Release. Driven by an unyielding passion, she pours her heart into uplifting individuals from diverse backgrounds, weaving a tapestry of healing, connection, and growth within her community.

Yes, great part of the Indian population is vegan so you will have plenty to choose from.

 

Yes, there is a great variety of food that you can choose from to fit your dietary needs. (Please specify in advance, we are happy to accommodate for you).

While in India, their are certain cultural norms and etiquette. For example, it's customary to greet others with a respectful namaste rather than a handshake. Additionally, modest attire is generally preferred, especially when visiting religious sites or attending traditional ceremonies. It's also customary to remove your shoes before entering someone's home or a place of worship. Showing respect for local customs and traditions fosters positive interactions and enhances your overall experience.

Yes, there will be access at the three destinations. You can also use “roaming” on your device. 

We will be walking throughout the day. There won’t be any heavy physical activities.

The three destinations where we will be staying all have emergency contacts that we can reach in case needed.

While the focus of our retreat is on communal experiences and group activities, we understand the importance of personal reflection and exploration. While most activities are designed for group participation, there may be some free time built into the schedule for individual reflection. However, we encourage participants to embrace the collective journey and fully engage in the shared experiences as they are an integral part of the retreat's theme and purpose.
